I need a place to stay for a vacation in Tokyo. Any suggestions?

Hi,
I'm planning a vacation in Tokyo for this summer.
(I want to tell you that your site is a great place for a Tokyo newbie like me. Thank you for the work you are doing.)
I'm on a pretty tight budget and I'm not into style and luxury. A clean and cozy room with a bed and a bathroom - if it has a bathtub that's perfect, if not I'll settle for a shower cabin :) - is all I'm asking for.
The price should be at most 55 euros/night. I'm planning to stay around 10 days. Depends on the budget.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer.
Regards,
Alex
Hi Alex!
First thanks for your lovely comments. We're glad to know you like the site as that means we're doing what we set out to do : )
Ok. Let's take a look at your requirements for accommodation during your stay in Tokyo.
Looking at your budget I think you can find something within your price range... especially if you are able to book in advance. A good starting point is
The B Akasaka Hotel Tokyo. Also take a look on our
cheap Tokyo hotels page for some more ideas.
We have affiliated with Hotels Combined for our hotel search function on the site because we really like the way they bring you back prices from a whole range of different vendors so you can pick the cheapest offer available. Sometimes the prices difference between vendors can be as much as 10,000 JPY so it's definitely worth using this function.
All you need to do is use the search function on our
Tokyo Hotel page with the dates you want to visit and watch the magic : ) You can see what each site like Orbitz, Expedia, Hotels.com, etc bring back and choose from the cheapest option.
Hope this helps Alex. Let us know if you need anything else.
