How To Get To Haneda Airport At 3am?

What's the option available for me to reach Tokyo Haneda airport at 3am? Taxi is too expensive, and I really can't afford it. I'm traveling with a 2 years old baby.

First of all thanks for sharing your question with us.

While it's definitely true that Haneda airport is going to become an international hub during the night hours of 11pm - 7am in the not too distant future, I'm not aware of it actually starting yet. If you have a flight out at this time we'd love to know more information as this is something we need to follow up. Would you mind sharing your flights details with us?

In the meantime, as things stand at the moment, I'm afraid we don't have a magic wand for the current transport situation in Tokyo at night. The trains don't run from around 12 midnight and 5am so between these hours the only real option is taxi.

If you have to be at Haneda that early in the morning the other alternative might be to book a hotel there for the night so you can be on site at 3am. Here's an option that might work for you: Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyo

Sorry we can't be more help at this time. Again if you can share your flight details that would be great. We've checked the Haneda airport site but can't find any flights yet leaving that early so would love to hear from you if you have other information.

How do I get away from Haneda airport at midnight?

I see you have answered question about transportation to/from Haneda at 3am and 5am and I'm sure they are useful to countless travelers. I hope I'm here to initiate the filling in of another gap...

I'll be arriving at Haneda with kids & grandmothers at 11pm, after immigration & getting luggage, we would be looking for transport to our hotel around the Disneyland at an rather ungodly hours, especially for the young and elders. Will the rails still be running? or would I be better off getting a van to pick us up?

If you're arriving at 11pm and you're traveling with a group of all different ages I'd definitely recommend organizing an airport pickup. The Airport Limousine Bus will have stopped anyway by this time and your alternatives are limited. You may be able to get a train but you'll be pushing it right to the time limit of when the trains stop. Plus you'll have the aggro of trying to do all this with your group. I wouldn't recommend it.

Get yourself an airport pickup arranged and life will be a lot easier! Have you asked your hotel if they provide any service? They may be able to help you. Alternatively try one of the independent pickup services available. Here are 2 to get you started:

I'm travelling from Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel to Haneda at about 0330hrs too.. I need to catch Singapore Airlines SQ635 to Singapore at about 0625hrs.

If my only choice is taxi, can you tell me how much it cost to travel from Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel to Haneda please?

How to get FROM Haneda Airport at 5am

Hello,
I'm arriving at Haneda Airport this Friday (5th November) with Singapore Airlines, and will land at 5.15 am.

Please could you tell me if I'll be able to get a monorail or train into Tokyo so early in the morning? I really don't want to take a taxi, as it's too expensive, so public transport seems to be my only option.

Thanks for your question. If you're landing at 5am you'll have no problem. Don't worry : ) The monorail starts around 5:15 in the morning so you'll have no trouble getting into the city.
